Sunderland Young Achievers' Awards

A celebration of those shining stars that have given their best, shown real courage, talent or dedication.

The Sunderland Young Achievers Awards, which are organised by Together for Children, recognise and celebrate the outstanding contribution made by young people in all aspects of life, from performing arts, to sport, culture and community.

There are two age ranges (8 to 13 years and 14 to 20 years) and various categories:

  • Music and Performing Arts
  • Personal Achievement
  • Service to the Community 
  • Academic Achievement 
  • Sport 
  • Young Carer
  • Volunteer
  • Young Apprentice
  • School Council
  • Anti-bullying Team
All winners and runners-up will be invited to a glittering awards presentation.
You can nominate a young person for the 2020 awards below. 

In response to Covid-19 it is with regret that the 2020 Sunderland Young Achievers Awards will be postponed. We’re still accepting nominations, although the original April closing date will be changed, we will share updates as soon as possible, so please continue to nominate those shining stars using the form below.
