Sunderland Young Inspectors

Do you want to have a say in your local services? Are you looking for a new challenge?

Are you aged 13 to 19 (or are you a disabled person aged under 25)?

Do you feel your voice has not been listened to?

If you answer 'Yes' to the above questions, we'd like you to join Sunderland Young Inspectors. You’ll learn new skills, have your voice heard and get paid.

Sunderland Young Inspectors is a programme that trains young people aged 13 to 19 (and up to 25) to inspect the services they use. Sunderland Young Inspectors have recently inspected Northumbria Police, Connexions, health centres, Sunderland's libraries and Sunderland Royal Hospital.

The Inspectors meet every second Thursday from 4.30 to 6.30pm at the Civic Centre, Sunderland.

To apply to become a Young Inspector, just get in touch.
