Adoption

Together for Children Adoption Sunderland rated "Good" by OFSTED, July 2018.

Thank you for considering adoption, we welcome your interest.

Could you be a forever family for a Sunderland child? We are looking for families for children for a range of ages - from babies through to older children.

Adoption is a legal way for a child or young person (up to 18 years) to gain a new legal parent(s). Legally, it is as if they had been born to their new parents once they are adopted.

If you are interested in adopting, we have a lot of information on the pages that can be found on the navigation bar on the left (or under this page if you are on mobile).

If you would rather speak to one of us, or if you are ready to apply to adopt then you can request a call by clicking here.

Alternatively, we host an information evening every month that that runs from 6pm to 8.30pm that you may attend:

Wednesday 12 September at Hetton Centre
Wednesday 10 October at Silksworth Wellness Centre
Wednesday 14 November at Washington Arts Centre
Wednesday 12 December at Bunnyhill Customer Service Centre

You can also contact us by calling 0191 561 2221 or by emailing us at adoption@togetherforchildren.org.uk.
