Volunteering opportunity with Together for Children – Community Panel Member

We currently have volunteering opportunities within our Youth Offending Service and are looking for people keen to make a difference to the lives of young people in Sunderland.

We are looking for volunteers who:

  • Live in Sunderland
  • Are aged 18 and over
  • Want to work with young people who offend or are at risk of offending
  • Want the chance to work with victims of crime and help your community
  • Want to meet new people and learn new skills

We are looking for people who are interested in being part of Community Panels. These panels develop intervention programmes that help ensure young people make a real contribution to their community while addressing any problems which may have led to them offending.

Training and support is offered to all of our volunteers, but we do ask that you attend Community Panel Meetings on a regular basis for a minimum of 12 months and attend additional training days when required.

If you would like to find out more, please see the Community Panel Member Application Information Pack in the downloads section below or contact Sue Gardham on 07900405099 or sue.gardham@togetherforchildren.org.uk.
