Volunteer with Together for Children

We currently have volunteering opportunities with our Youth Offending Service and are looking for people keen to make a difference in the lives of young people in Sunderland.

We are looking for volunteers who:

  • Live in Sunderland
  • Are aged 18 and over
  • Want to work with young people who offend or are at risk of offending
  • Want the chance to work with victims of crime and help your community
  • Want to meet new people and learn new skills

We’re looking for people who are interested in being part of our Community Panels. These panels develop intervention programmes that help ensure young people make a real contribution to their community while addressing any problems which may have led to them offending.

Training and support is offered to all of our volunteers, but we do ask that you attend Community Panel Meetings on a regular basis for a minimum of 12 months and attend additional training days when required.

For more information, or to complete an application form, please download our forms below.

If you would like to find out more please contact Jenifer Dickinson or Sue Gardham on 0191 561 4000 or email jenifer.dickinson@togetherforchildren.org.uk  or sue.gardham@togetherforchildren.org.uk
