Careers and NEET

Targeted Careers Advice

Our Careers and NEET (not in employment, education or training) service provides impartial information, advice and guidance about education and careers for young people aged 13 to 18.

Our service also supports young people with disabilities and special educational needs who have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP), up to the age of 25.

Our Careers Advisers can support young people to make positive choices about their future, with information about college courses, apprenticeships, sixth form, employment and training, as well as a range of other options depending on their individual needs and interests.

All our Careers Advisers are appropriately qualified to nationally recognised CEIAG standards (Level 6), as recommended by Ofsted and the Career Development Institute (CDI).

To find out more, get in touch with our Careers and NEET Service on 0191 561 4084 or email YP.careers@togetherforchildren.org.uk
