Talk Boost Year 7 and Talk for Work provide targeted Speech and Language UK interventions that support students with communication difficulties — from easing the transition into secondary school to preparing 14-18‑year‑olds for the workplace.
Talk Boost Year 7 Training
A targeted intervention for students in Year 7 developed by Speech and Language UK, a charity dedicated to helping children with communication difficulties.
Talk Boost Year 7 can help students with weaker language skills make a more successful transition to secondary and reduce the impact of having a communication difficulty.

Talk for Work Training
Talk for Work Training is an evidence-based targeted intervention that helps students aged 14 to 18 with difficulties in talking and understanding words to be ready for the workplace. It can be used in both secondary schools and Further Education colleges.
The programme consists of a series of 13 fully planned one-hour lessons delivered by trained teaching or support staff.
