WearKids (prevention)

What is WearKids?

WearKids is a voluntary intervention for young people aged between 10 years and and 17 years old, with an aim to prevent antisocial behaviour and offending. We support young people to make positive choices to bring about changes in behaviour. We aim to prevent young people from entering the criminal justice system, and our interventions include one-to-one support. We can also link to other services, such as Early Help, or make referrals to our partners including Youth Drug and Alcohol Project (YDAP) and emotional wellbeing support.

Where is WearKids?

WearKids is everywhere! Our office is based at Stanfield Centre, Addison Street, Sunderland, SR2 8SZ, but sessions can cake place at your home, in school or college, or even out in your local community. We can also host online sessions via FaceTime or WhatsApp. We are fully flexible, based on your needs.
